Dear Paul
I am writing to let you know what a good
8 year old boy you have been this year.
Christmas is such a special time, a time for giving and for sharing and here in the North Pole we have been
working very hard to make sure we are ready for Christmas Eve, when I visit all the little boys and girls in the
  world, delivering exciting gifts.
Mrs Claus and I have been checking with the elves and they tell us that you have been very kind to your friends
and that makes Rudolph the red nosed reindeer very happy!
During the year you have been doing very well and keeping extremely busy...
  *	doing well with times tables
  *	looking after Penny
  * and making Mum, Dad, Nanny and Grandad very proud
Well done Paul, keep up the good work!
As you would expect, my helpers have been very busy in the workshop making special gifts for all the children
across the world and Mrs Claus has been busy knitting me a very thick pair of red socks and a new velvet hat
to wear on Christmas Eve. They will keep me lovely and cosy during my long journey.
My Christmas sleigh has new shiny bells on it this year, all ready for our long flight. I’m so looking forward to
delivering lots of lovely surprises to your home town and for your best friend Sam.
Eggnog Elf tells me that you would like some Preston Clothes for Christmas. I’ll ask the my team to do their very best.
Not long from now, I’ll be leaving the North Pole for my long trip on Christmas Eve, to visit you and your family
in East Grinstead. Even though it’s a very long journey, I am looking forward to visiting York Avenue most of all.
Please don't forget to leave a carrot or two for the reindeer and a lovely glass of milk for me would be nice, I get
very thirsty on such a long journey.
Well Paul, I have to go now as there is still an awful lot of work to be done. Now be sure to go to bed early on
Christmas Eve and please remember, I will only stop by when you are fast asleep. The reindeer and I will try to
be very quiet when we land on your rooftop.
 Love from
